چکیده
The removal of organic pollutant in wastewater has become a major priority water treatment. In this study, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) been biologically and photocatalytically degraded using modified transition metal dichalcogenides. as-synthesized nanoparticles were characterized various characterization techniques, which includes XRD, Raman, FT-IR, SEM, TEM, UV-Vis, XPS, PL, EIS, photocurrent responses. synthesized by slightly hydrothermal method depicted hexagonal phase, as evidenced XRD Raman analyses. biological degradation 69% was achieved. Moreover, the total carbon efficiency 70% further Incorporating photocatalytic systems significantly improved secondary effluent three folds when compared to unilateral operating setup. optimized parameters such pH = 7, 5 ppm DBP concentration with addition 10 mg catalysts loading employed for water. Pristine WS2 exhibited efficiencies 46% after 60 min illumination. use dual system 3% Ce/Gd-WS2 highest photodegradation 85%, chemical oxygen demand 80% 77%. enhanced activity composite is attested formation heterojunction exhibiting excellent charge separation low rate recombination. can be used up seven times still achieve 56%.

Biological Process Optimal Design in a Wastewater Treatment Plant
1. Abstract The aim of this paper is to determine the optimal design and operation of an activated sludge system that is being installed in a small town in the north of Portugal. This process design takes into consideration real data in order to define the objective cost function which includes both investment and operation costs. The collected data were also used to characterize the wastewater...

15 صفحه اولDegradation and Adsorption Behavior of Dibutyl Phthalate in Methanogenic Phase Refuse
The degradation and adsorption behavior of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) in methanogenic phase refuse was investigated through laboratory microcosm experiments. The results showed that the half-life of DBP in the sterilized refuse was 5.9 times higher than in unsterilized samples, but that it decreased by 35.8% when dominant bacterial strains were added. Different concentrations of DBP did not have o...

In the 21st Century, Majority of water pollution is caused due to incorrect discharge of waste products into the water bodies. These pollutants can be categorized as dyes, textiles, pesticides and hydrocarbons. This review paper deals with a comprehensive analysis of various methods for degradation of these pollutants in water. Due to the efficient mineralization of organic compounds; advanced ...
متن کاملCombined biological and physico-chemical treatment of baker’s yeast wastewater
The UASB reactor (35 C) was quite efficient for removal of bulk COD (52–74%) from the raw and diluted cultivation medium from the first separation process of baker’s yeasts (the average organic loading rates varied in the range 3.7–16 g COD/l/d). The aerobic-anoxic biofilter (19–23 8C) can be used for removal of remaining BOD and ammonia from anaerobic effluents; however, it had insufficient CO...
